Sean began his music career in the early 2000s, drawing inspiration from reggae legends like Bob Marley and modern dancehall artists. He gained recognition with his breakout hit single "Confessions" in 2023, produced my grammy nominated producer Troyton Hinds, which showcased his smooth vocal delivery and ability to seamlessly fuse reggae with catchy pop melodies. Early life

Sean Linton, known professionally as Sean Austin, was born on February, 1972, in Clarendon, Jamaica. Raised in a musically rich environment, Sean was exposed to reggae, dancehall, and the island's vibrant culture from a young age. His mother, a music enthusiast, nurtured his early love for music.

Austin grew up in a neighborhood where the sounds of reggae could be heard on every corner, and it wasn’t long before he began singing along to his favorite songs. His earliest musical influences came from reggae legends like Michael Jackson, Jimmy Cliff, and Third World, whose melodies and messages of hope and unity resonated deeply with him.

As a child, Austin attended a local primary school in Lionel town, where he was known for his energetic personality and love for performing in school plays and talent shows. His passion for music intensified when he joined the school choir, where he further honed his vocal skills while fueling his creative expression. After graduating from high school, Sean decided to pursue a career in music full-time. He moved to kingston to further immerse himself in Jamaica's music scene, where he started recording with local producers and performing at clubs and festivals. His breakthrough came when he released his first single, “Brown Sugar,” in 2006, which gained significant attention both locally and internationally, marking the beginning of his rise in the reggae music world.
